At 3.45 friday morning my group of 13 API students left Dromroe Village to go to London, England. I didn't get much sleep at all that weekend but it was so much fun and I love London now.
After we arrived at our hotel, the National Royal, and got settled we all headed out to look around London.
For breakfast I decided I needed a hot chocolate to wake me up. About ten minutes down the road after breakfast we found our first Starbucks. I did not get any but was so happy to see something familiar.
Kirby and I.
All up and down the streets near the London Eye there were tons of street performers dressed up. Also the weather this weekend was wonderful. Sunny and warm:).
We got to experience the London Eye and fully see the city.
Callista and I.
Big BEN! (Although I found out that the tower's name is not actually Big Ben. Big Ben is the name of the bell inside the tower. Also the bell has a distinct sound from being dropped one time.)
Once a day, in front of where the Prime Minister lives, people gather to see the charge of the guards. We happened to walk up and see it luckily.
I could see myself living here one day because of how beautiful the fall was. Everywhere you looked there were beautiful parks like this and parents with their kids running around and couple holding hands. It was very appealing.
We happened to catch some English boys playing a game of American football.
Kirby, Catie and I's messy room.
On day two we got up and ate a delicious breakfast of toast and cereal and then shortly after met with not only our API group but the groups from Cork and Limerick. We then took a tour of the city and went to the London Tower.
What we thought was the London Bridge.... This is actually the Tower Bridge. The London Bridge is a much smaller bridge further down. And the original London Bridge is actually located in Arizona.

A type of torture.
Us girls.
Westminster Abbey.
That night all of us girls got dressed up and went to see Wicked. It was an amazing play and we had so much fun.
We were almost on the last row of the balcony so we had to have binoculars to see ha. We had a lot of fun with them before the show apparently.
On day three a few of us girls got up and went sight seeing all day. We went to the British Museum which I loved. I was fascinated by the mummies and the Egyptian section. I loved the museum.
Moses' basket maybe?
